Toyota Fortuner 2022 Variants / Engine
Talking about the power of all of these beastly vehicles, we should start from the Fortuner Sigma4. The Sigma trim gets its power from a 2755cc, 4-cylinder, Inline common-rail engine which can deliver the maximum power of 130 horsepower @3400 RPM and a torque of 450 NM at 1600 to 2400 RPM.
These figures mean you should not worry about the power aspect of your vehicle as Toyota has that covered.
The Fortuner V (4×2 Hi) derives its power from a 2694cc, four-cylinder, INLINE, petrol engine. This engine is capable of delivering up to 122 horsepower @5200 RPM and a maximum torque of 245 Nm @4000 RPM. The powertrains of both of the trims are similar and all of the trim levels have been available in a 6-speed sequential with paddle shifters.
The Fortuner has been made available in 3 trim levels. These include the Fortuner Sigma4 (4x4Hi), the Fortuner V (4×2 Hi), and the Fortuner G (4×2 STD). A four-wheel-drive feature has been offered in the sigma variant whereas the other trims only have a front-wheel-drive option.
